The Lochside Project — Kagyu Samye Dzong Glasgow

Kagyu Samye Dzong Glasgow is a branch of Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland. As part of the Karma Kagyu school of Buddhism our purpose is to transmit the teachings of the practice lineage headed by His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Orgyen Trinley Dorje.

The centre is under the direct guidance of Choje Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche. Lama Zangpo is the resident lama and teacher at Lochside. The success of the centre is due to their tireless effort and commitment which has the welfare and happiness of all at its heart.

Making a donation directly helps to provide all the necessary conditions for the study and practice of meditation and Buddhism, bringing teachers to teach and maintaining a spiritual community. It also contributes to the considerable expenses that are involved in running a centre.
