Travelling via Train
We are located 10 minutes from Lochwinnoch train station. From the station car park (Lochwinnoch Train Station), cross the road into the RSPB car park, head to the RSPB Building and take the path to the right through the gate, follow the main path.
There are two paths just after you enter the nature reserve, but they both join up shortly later. You will pass a wooden apparatus on your right and you’ll see the railway embankment, follow along the path below that until you see the underpass and turn right going through the gate into the grounds. Following the path up, it bends to the right and you’ll arrive beside the outbuildings.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE A737 ROUTE IF WALKING
This route recommended by Google Maps will direct walking visitors along the A737 through the front road to the property. This is a busy and dangerous road, which we highly discourage anyone following.
This route will lead walking visitors via the recommended RSPB Reserve path; not only is it safer, but a more pleasant walk.
Travelling via car
The entrance to the driveway is on the A737. If coming from Glasgow, it’s highly recommended you drive around the A737 roundabout and come back to turn left into the property due to fast traffic.
